Lawrence Onu Irem

Mr Irem Lawrence Onu, is a graduate of Business Management from University of Calabar, in Cross River State, Nigeria. His experience in commodity marketing spans over two decades of managing Agro commodity companies such as Jenick Nig Ltd, where he served as head of operations and also as General Manager at Midas Touch Nig Ltd also a cocoa procurement company.

He is the Managing Director of Iloson Commodities Enterprises Ltd which he established in 2003 and has been operating as one of the major local buying agents to the likes of Olam Nig Ltd and Starlink Global and Ideal Ltd procuring cocoa beans and cashew nuts. Mr Irem is a co-owner of Farmgates a company formed solely for the exportation of cocoa, cashew, soya beans etc. In 2020 Mr Irem with other partners formed Farmgates Global Concept Ltd bringing on board his wealth of experiences in commodities procurement and marketing both locally and overseas to collaborate with other stakeholders with expertise for a successful export tradings.
